Love it ........ was easy to set up and sound is much clearer and more enjoyable. I did need to plug it into my Direct TV audio port and it works great. The remote is easy to use and has several different sound 'type' selections.,

I bought a Toshiba 40" LCD HDTV several years ago when it was on sale with a very good price (at that time). Then I realize the sound quality of it is really bad as a result of cutting cost. I found this sound bar and the Vizio one on sale at around the same price 2 years ago. After comparing the style and reviews, I decided to keep this Samsung one. I am using the optical output from the TV to connect to the sound bar. It has 2 optical digital and 1 analog input. The mounting is easy. I like its autopower on/off function a lot. When it sees a digital audio input, it will turn itself on within a couple seconds. It will return to standby when there is no audio input for a while. The sound quality is much better than the built-in speaker on the TV and is comparable to my previous 5.1 sound system. In a 400sqft living room, I rarely need to turn it above vol 20. The 3D mode add the depth of sound effect nicely. It may not be the best sound bar, but it seems to be among the top tiers within the $100 price range.

this sound bar works good, from the other room it sounds like the people on TV are actually in the house!
